Mila brides wedding shop opened in October 2008 and has been developed to give you the ultimate wedding experience.
We have several wedding dress designers including Mark Lesley, Veromia, Morilee, Trudy lee, Jean Fox with over 50 Bridal Gowns to choose from.
Suit Hire is from Cameron ross with a free roaming wearer service available ask for details.
Planning your wedding can be a time consuming experience averaging over 200 hours so why not take advantage of Mila Brides flexible opening times.
The team are available for wedding dress appointments, suit hire fittings & bridesmaid dress appointments 7 days a week plus late nights to fit around your busy schedule.
We are CLOSED on Sundays & Wednesdays so appointments on these days need advanced booking.

Jo Millner - Managing Director
Jo Millner opened Mila Brides in October 2008 after being a wedding planner for over 8 years. Jo has a love and passion for service and believes that in todays modern society you should be able to plan your wedding around your lifestyle so after hearing the issues Brides all over the country experience she decided to open Mila Brides. She believes that every customer should receive exceptional service, good quality products and a fantastic choice of products in a relaxed atmosphere making the whole experience wonderfully memorable.

Bex & Alice joined Mila Brides in 2011, They both enjoy all aspects of the bridal industry and recently took part in choosing the new 2012 bridal and prom collections.
They both have excellent customer service skills and look forward to meeting you at your appointment and helping you find the perfect dress, assist in planning your colour scheme or dress your groom.
Both Bex and Alice have a wealth of knowledge to help you plan the perfect day so feel free to contact them with any queries.

Mila Brides are updating their bridal collections for 2012. Three Exciting new designers are being added to the collection including 2 British Designers Mark Lesley RBA award winning designer and nominanee for designer of the year, Vermoia also nominated for designer of the year and Jean Fox a fantastic Austrailian company that have been making escquisite bridal gowns for over 75 years. Over 30 new designs will be hitting our shelves in December/January so watch out for our amazing new styles for 2012.

Here at Mila Brides, we understand that not everybody wants to purchase their dress. That is why we have decided to become the first Bridal Boutique in York to Hire a selected range of Gowns. If you would prefer to hire your dress for your big day please contact Jo for more details. A Private booking will be made to discuss which styles would be available for your date and at what price. Gown hire ranges anything between £350.00 and £1000.00
Chiffon dresses are not available to hire but we do have a great range on our sale rail.

We hire for any event with a large range of styles & colours. Roaming wearer system enables any person in your party to be measured in another city for their convenience at no extra cost.

Mila Brides uses 3 different designers for bridesmaids so that you have a great range to choose from.
We have all the colours of the rainbow available and because we have a British designer a large selection of our dresses can be altered to fit your personal requirements e.g. add or remove straps, change material, add or remove sparkle etc...
This is great if you are a bride with several very different bridesmaids and you want them all to look the same but cant find a style that suits them all. Mila brides will help you to find a solution. Our designers are Morilee, Dzage and Busy Bs Bridals.Click the links to see the ranges available.
Our size range runs from baby to age 13 in childrens/teens, adult sizes 6 to 34. Sizes larger than a 34 can be organised. just ask for details. Prices start from £75.00 & range up to £280.00 depending on material used. Although the majority of adult dresses are around £195. Call to make an appointment to try on today!!!

First Holy Communion Dresses start from £75 and are available in ages 6 to 13yrs. As we use a british designer we can organise short delivery times and also varied sizing to suit all childrens figures. Also available white shoes, hair bands, tiara's and veils.

Mila Brides are currently looking for a part time team member for Saturdays, wedding fairs and up to 3 days in the week.
We are also looking for a seamstress to work within the shop part time with additional hours available in peak season.

Want someone to plan your dream wedding & take the stress out of creating your special day? Dont want to feel like its not your wedding?
Mila brides wedding planner will discuss every aspect of your wedding with you, We will discuss your ideas, hopes & budget over a coffee or a glass of wine and then our planner will do all the leg work to give you your perfect wedding, consulting with you at every stage. All your decisions but without the endless trailing around suppliers and phone calls to check everything is booked. We can also send your invitations, do seating plans with you and organise gifts. Every part of your wedding can be hassle free!
With this package you have the option to have your planner with you on your special day or you can choose not to have your planner on the day but have a final meeting 1 to 2 days before to ensure you are happy with the final arrangements.
This Package costs from £600.

Do you and your partner lead hectic lives, never seem to be able to get the time to organise your wedding? Let us do it for you!!
With the dream wedding package all you need to do is agree with our wedding planner what you would like from your wedding, set us a budget & provide us with a guest list.
We will do everything else! You can have as much or as little involvement as you would like. If all you want to know is when and where will I be picked up, this can be arranged!
The Mila Brides wedding planner will attend your special day until the DJ or Band has arrived & the first dance is finished, then she will leave you to enjoy the rest of your celebrations.
